About Prof Nabi

Muhammad Shoaib Nabi is a Visiting Professor of Thoracic Surgery at Shalamar Medical and Dental College, Lahore. With a vast experience in the field, Dr. Nabi has made significant contributions to the medical community through his expertise in thoracic surgery and dedication to teaching and training future surgeons. He holds a MBBS degree from Nishter Medical College and FCPS in Thoracic Surgery from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan. Dr. Nabi has held various academic appointments, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and currently serves as a Professor of Thoracic Surgery. He has also held major administrative positions as the Head of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at SIMS/Services Hospital. Dr. Nabi's research interests include pulmonary tuberculosis, pulmonary aspergilloma, and malignant pleural mesothelioma. He has published peer-reviewed articles and case reports, highlighting his expertise in the field. Furthermore, Dr. Nabi has actively participated in workshops, both nationally and internationally, and has conducted hands-on training workshops on various thoracic surgical procedures. He is recognized for his contributions to the medical community and has received honors and prizes for his exceptional work.

MDR TB, Mesothelioma and Aspergiloma are mostly his research interests.
